Sepahan Beyond Research Company, established in 1996 (1375 SH), aims to become the most reputable engineering company and the leading provider of industrial solutions in Iran and the Middle East. With over 130 engineering staff across its offices in Isfahan, Tehran, and Norway, it was recognized as a top knowledge-based company in 2015 (1394 SH) and is located in the Isfahan Science and Technology Town. The company is renowned in the industry for its extensive experience in providing engineering services and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) solutions for steel, mining, oil and gas, petrochemical, and environmental projects.
The company holds several prestigious qualifications from Plan and Budget Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran :

With over 25 years of experience, Sepahan Beyond Research has collaborated with major industrial clients both domestically and internationally. These include Maerz of Switzerland, Outotec of Finland, Danieli of Italy, Qatar Steel as well as Iranian giants like Mobarakeh Steel Company, Esfahan Steel Company (ESCO), Bafq Iron & Steel Complex Mining & Industry Co., Yazd Alloy Steel Co., Saba Persian Gulf Steel Co., Azar Steel Amin Co., Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co., among others. This collaboration has resulted in the completion of more than 100 industrial projects such as:
– Golgohar Pelletizing Plant with a capacity of 5 million tons per year
– The national rail project at Esfahan Steel Company—the largest rail production plant in the Middle East
– Steel Sang Lime Project with a capacity of 1200 tons per day
– Bafq Steel Pelletizing Project as a consultant
– Consulting on development contracts for Saba Continuous Casting & Rolling Mill
Additionally, Sepahan Beyond Research has a clear strategy for environmental projects based on its extensive experience providing engineering services aimed at reducing air and soil pollution, chemical processes optimization, wastewater treatment, and water consumption optimization. Notable environmental projects include:
– Qazvin Landfill
– Qazvin Recycling Site
– Ammonia Dosing at Esfahan Steel Company’s Thermal Power Plant No.2
– Recycling fine pellet mill materials at Mobarakeh Steel Company

From its first contract with Mobarakeh Steel Complex to design structural elements for galvanized and color-coated sheet production lines to its current role as contractor for Mobarakeh’s mega Hot Rolling Mill No.2 project, Sepahan Beyond Research defines its mission as “Building Iran” by nurturing talented university graduates and creating a bright future for them. Since the day in 1999 when my colleagues and I began our collaboration at Sepahan Beyond Research, we started with determination, enduring all adversities and shortages to shape what Sepahan Beyond Research is today. We began our work from a rented office on Sheikh Bahaei Street with small projects, and today, within the Sepahan Beyond Research family, we celebrate bright and successful days such as the commissioning of Gol Gohar Pelletizing Line 2 and are engaged in the national mega-project of Mobarakeh Steel Hot Rolling Mill 2. We have endured difficult days like the departure of friends from the country with heavy hearts, but we have always been hopeful for the future.
We have outlined Sepahan Beyond Research’s future vision in maintaining our advantage in up-to-date technical knowledge, aiming to implement BIM standards within the company. Simultaneously, we seek to diversify our clients, continue collaborations with foreign technologies such as Maerz of Switzerland and Outotec of Finland, and export technical and engineering services.
